About one hundred miles north of Los Angeles is a resort community that has activities for all four seasons. It is Big Bear Lake, California. It is a very popular vacation destination and is located in the San Bernandino National Forest. The area is at seven thousand feet above sea level. The area is vast and beautiful with breathtaking views of the lake. This is a destination that is sure to please and visitors will want to return over and over again.

Encinitas has a different vibe than any of the beach towns north of San Diego – but what is it that makes it so captivating, so special? Many feel its because Encinitas is still lost in time back in the 1960s when California was a much simpler place with small roadside motels along Highway 101. Encinitas hotels didn’t exist back in the 60s, nor were there any Encinitas Bed and Breakfasts or hotels in Del Mar or the Cardiff Lodge.
