Enchantment Resort will host a weekend long celebration highlighting the spectacular wines found in Arizona’s Verde Valley. On Saturday evening February 7, the award winning culinary team at Yavapai Restaurant is presenting the Verde Valley Winemaker dinner. For this five-course affair, Enchantment Resort Executive Chef Steven Bernstein and Sommelier Steve Bailey have paired their delicious cuisine with a sampling of Arizona’s finest wines. Wines from Freitas Vineyard, Alcantara, Javelina Leap, Caduceus Cellars, Page Springs Cellars and Jerome Winery will be presented with a delectable menu including Sea Scallops, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Veal Osso Bucco and a Triple Chocolate Ganache Tart for dessert. On Sunday, February 8, Enchantment Resort is hosting “A Taste of The Verde Valley” in its ballroom from 1 – 4 p.m. This wine tasting festival will feature local and statewide vineyards and a variety of Verde Valley businesses. Representatives and winemakers from across Arizona will be on-hand offering tastes of their impressive wines, including Freitas Vineyard, Alcantara, Javelina Leap, Caduceus Cellars, Page Springs Cellars, Jerome Winery, Oak Creek Vineyard and Winery, Arizona Stronghold, Pillsbury Wine and Keeling-Schaefer.
