I can't wait till this is gone. I usually can easily pack a carry on bag for my flights except for that stupid 3 oz rule. Plus, I love not having to wait in line to get my baggage. I always thought that it was a pretty dumb rule (almost as dumb as the taking off your shoes rule -- I always wonder when was the last time they washed the floor!). I read somewhere though that these "rules" are more for the appearance of "security" than an actual expectation of effecting security. These little inconveniences are designed to remind the masses that the TSA is vigilant. Well that’s good news!
