Now if your head isn’t spinning yet, I will definitely make it now. You can get multiple charges on the same piece of luggage if it is too large, too heavy, or one too many! This list defenitely makes you rethink how you are going to pack for your next plane trip.
Thank you for the information. I am flying United and Us Air tomorrow and wouldn’t even have though to check to see if there was a charge for the first bag.
very informative, thanks for sharing Lisa..
I found out about these new charges unexpectedly when I flew a couple of months ago. I also found out that at our airport, I don’t know about other airports, curbside check in now charges $2 per bag and that’s not tip because they now also tell you that to clarify.
Glad I could help Carol!
I flew American last week, so that’s what got this post started when I found out it was going to cost me to check my luggage. I ended up just bring a carryon with all my stuff.
I’m glad i don’t travel to much. I flu one time. Thanks for all the info. I will save it so i can come back and check it out when my daughter & hubby go some where.
